Accessibility Statement
JEF Finland is committed to making its website accessible to all users. This statement covers the website eurooppanuoret.fi, and accessibility has been assessed against the WCAG 2.1 AA-level requirements.
Status
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The deficiencies listed below do not fully meet the requirements.
Non-accessible content
– Some button and link colour combinations do not meet the required contrast ratio, which may make text harder to read for users with low vision.
– The heading structure of some pages is occasionally inconsistent, which can make it harder for screen reader users to perceive the page structure.
– Some repeated links (e.g. “Read more”, “Download”) do not always clearly indicate their destination to screen reader users.
– The accessibility of downloadable PDF files in the Materials section has not yet been separately reviewed.
Fixing these deficiencies is planned.
How we assessed accessibility
This assessment was carried out on 28 August 2026 as an expert review (code review and site inspection), not as comprehensive user testing with assistive technologies.
