JEF Finland’s Executive Board appointed Alma Jokinen, a student of political science, as JEF Finland’s event coordinator at its meeting 8/2026. Jokinen worked as JEF Finland’s university trainee in 2023, as well as an event coordinator at Finn Church Aid. In addition, Jokinen works as Finland’s EU Youth Delegate.

Her strong experience with JEF Finland and EU affairs more broadly, as well as, of course, in event coordination, will be a huge asset to JEF Finland and will guarantee us highly successful events. Welcome back to the office, Alma!”, comments JEF Finland’s President Pieta Päivänen.

Event Coordinator Jokinen is primarily responsible for the Nordic summer camp held in the summer, as well as the arrangements for JEF Finland’s traditional Castle Seminar. Jokinen began in the role on 7 April 2026.
