JEF Kuopio

We want to increase young people’s understanding of the European Union and its effects on everyday life, and to show how people in North Savo can also influence what happens in Europe. We aim to spark young people’s interest in European affairs and civic participation in particular.

We organise a wide range of activities, from relaxed evenings and networking events to discussions, seminars and international excursions. We also take part in public debate on the European Union and offer young people opportunities to network and get to know international activities.

Our activities are aimed at young people aged 15–28 in Kuopio interested in Europe, internationality and civic participation. The threshold for joining is low — membership or previous EU knowledge is not required.

Our goal is to grow our activities and build a strong foundation for the organisation, so that JEF Kuopio can be an active part of the youth and student community in the future as well. So come along! You can find our upcoming events on our Instagram and in our WhatsApp group.
