JEF Finland is looking for two (2) editors-in-chief, as well as a new editorial team, for the organisation’s online publication. Tähdistö is JEF Finland’s organisational and expert publication, produced by a volunteer editorial team of around twenty people. Guest columns are also written by politicians, researchers and influencers.

Want to be Editor-in-Chief?
Tähdistö is a central part of the organisation’s communications work. JEF Finland is now looking for two top talents who are passionate about EU politics and journalism, and who get excited about coordination and communications! The Editor-in-Chief role is a one-year fixed-term position of trust.

The editors-in-chief are responsible for developing and coordinating the publication, as well as for stakeholder work with other domestic youth publications and with The New Federalist, the publication of JEF Finland’s umbrella organisation. The editors-in-chief work in close cooperation with JEF Finland’s Executive Board.

The application period for editor-in-chief closes on 17 December at 23:59. Applicants for editor-in-chief are asked to submit a CV and an application of at most one A4 page. New editors-in-chief are selected on the basis of the application and an interview.

On Tähdistö’s editorial team, you have a unique opportunity to become a wordsmith who masters the ins and outs of politics and analysis. The upcoming 30th anniversary of Finland’s EU membership offers a unique opportunity to comment on and take a stand on the issues as part of Tähdistö’s editorial team.

The application period for the editorial team closes on 22 December. The editorial team will be selected on the basis of applications.
Applicants for the writer role are asked to submit a free-form application, in which they can describe in more detail which themes they are particularly interested in.

Interested in becoming an Editor-in-Chief? The role of Tähdistö is central to operations of JEF Finland. The organization is now looking for two enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a passion for EU politics and journalism, along with a talent for coordination and communication! This Editor-in-Chief position is a one-year fixed-term volunteer role.

The Editors-in-Chief are responsible for the development and coordination of the publication, as well as for stakeholder relations with other national youth publications and with the European Federalists’ umbrella publication, The New Federalist. The Editors-in-Chief work closely with the national board of JEF Finland.

The application period for the Editor-in-Chief role ends on December 17th at 11:59 pm. Candidates are asked to submit a CV and an application no longer than one A4 page. New Editors-in-Chief will be selected based on the application and an interview.
