At its meeting 4/2023, the Federal Board of Eurooppanuoret elected Benjamin Lamberg, a student of environmental and food economics as well as geography, as the organization’s Project Coordinator. Lamberg has previously served on the boards of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki and the Finnish Union of Upper Secondary School Students, among others.
“The level of the applicants was extremely high, but Benjamin stood out from the group with his experience in independent work, his understanding of organizational operations, and the skills and attitude required of a project coordinator. He has all the prerequisites to succeed in the role, and it’s great to start working together,” commented Eurooppanuoret’s Chairperson Amanda Alvesalo.
“It’s fantastic to get started as project coordinator! Promoting European awareness in Finland is extremely important, especially with the European elections approaching. There’s plenty of work to be done in this field, and it’s a pleasure to be able to contribute,” commented Lamberg, who has just started in the role.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of Eurooppanuoret’s Erasmus+ partnership project as well as the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ European information project. Lamberg started in the position on 27 March 2023.
