You are warmly welcome to the statutory Annual General Meeting of JEF Oulu on Wednesday 3.12.2025 from 17.00 onwards. The meeting will be held in the Showroom meeting room of the Oulu Culture Foundation at Torikatu 18, 90100 Oulu. You can also attend the meeting remotely at https://meet.google.com/jkk-jbwo-mbu .
Everyone interested in our activities is welcome to attend. At the Annual General Meeting, every individual member has the right to speak, attend and vote. As a member, you can also stand as a candidate for the positions of trust elected at the meeting. If you are not yet a member, you can join here. To verify your right to vote, please bring photo identification to the meeting. Membership will be checked against the membership register before the meeting.
The following statutory matters will be considered at the meeting:
- establishing the legality and quorum of the meeting and confirming the participants,
- electing the chair of the meeting, the secretary, two (2) reviewers of the minutes and two (2) vote counters,
- approving the agenda,
- granting discharge from liability to the board and other accountable parties,
- deciding on the action plan for 2026,
- deciding on the budget for 2026,
- electing the chair of the board for 2026, 1-2 vice-chairs and 3-10 other board members,
- electing one (1) operations auditor and one (1) deputy operations auditor,
- other matters put forward by the board and members in accordance with section 24 of the Finnish Associations Act.

Interested in board work in a youth organisation? At the Annual General Meeting, every interested member has the opportunity to stand for the 2026 board. No advance registration is required — you can also announce your candidacy at the meeting venue. If you cannot attend in person, you can send your board candidate introduction to the AGM coordinator by 16.00 on 3.12.
