Welcome to JEF Finland’s statutory General Assembly to help decide on the organisation’s activities and elect the Executive Board’s officeholders for 2026!
JEF Finland’s statutory General Assembly will be held in Turku on 29–30 November 2025.
In addition to the statutory documents, the General Assembly will address
- JEF Finland’s 2026–2029 strategy
- Sustainable development programme
- Main chapters 5 and 6 of the policy paper
In accordance with the rules, the General Assembly will elect the Executive Board’s President, two (2) Vice Presidents, and 5-8 other Executive Board members for 2026. The election period began on 13 October 2025, and JEF Finland members may submit their candidacy right up until the General Assembly. The election guidelines have been sent to members by email, and candidates commit to following the guidelines.
According to the association’s rules, members and member associations may submit initiatives to the General Assembly no later than four (4) weeks before the meeting. Accordingly, all initiatives submitted to the Executive Board by 1 November 2025 will be brought before the meeting together with the Executive Board’s statements.
The General Assembly is open to all members of JEF Finland who joined no later than 8 November 2025 and who meet the membership criteria set out in the rules. You can become a member here.
Advance registration for the General Assembly is required
- by 21 November, if you do not need accommodation arranged through JEF Finland
- by 12 November, if you would like accommodation arranged through JEF Finland
The participation fee for General Assembly delegates is
- €20, if you do not need shared accommodation
- €30, if you take part in accommodation arranged through JEF Finland
The participation fee includes travel reimbursement against receipts up to €40, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch. Shared accommodation for those who register for it will be arranged in rooms for four people within walking distance of the venue.

The General Assembly will elect JEF Finland’s President, Vice Presidents and other Executive Board members for the 2026 term. Every individual member of JEF Finland is entitled to apply for these positions!
The election period runs from 13 October to 29 November. Candidacy for positions of trust can be submitted at the venue or by email: [email protected].
To receive visibility from JEF Finland, candidacy must be announced no later than 31 October 2025. JEF Finland offers all candidates who declare in time visibility on social media and on the website.
