JEF Joensuu’s Annual Meeting will be held as follows:
Time: Friday 7 November 2025, 17:00
Place: Joensuu Workers’ Hall meeting hall (Kauppakatu 32, 80100 Joensuu, entrance address
Yläsatamakatu 7 B) as well as remotely via Google Meet.
The meeting begins at 17:00. The meeting will be held in Finnish, with English available if needed. Everyone interested in our activities is welcome to attend. Every person with a valid JEF Finland membership has the right to vote and the right
to submit initiatives at the meeting. We will verify your membership
against our official membership register. Initiatives must be submitted to the Annual Meeting’s contact person Niko Pitkänen
at [email protected] no later than eight (8) days before the meeting.
At the Annual Meeting, you can help shape the activities organised by JEF Joensuu, and influence the composition of the board either by voting or by standing
as a candidate yourself!
Instructions for standing as a candidate and the registration form
Matters to be addressed at the meeting:
- the legality and quorum of the meeting, and confirmation of attendees,
- election of the meeting’s chair, secretary, two (2) minute-checkers and two (2)
vote counters, - adoption of the agenda,
- discharge from liability for the Board and other accountable persons,
- deciding on the action plan for the following year,
- deciding on the budget for the following year,
- adoption of the association’s new rules,
- election of the Chair, 1-2 Vice Chairs and other members of the Board
(3-10 persons), - election of one (1) auditor and one (1) deputy auditor,
- other matters proposed by the Board and members.
