Kaneli Seppänen appointed university trainee at JEF Finland

JEF Finland’s Executive Board has selected Kaneli Seppänen as the new university trainee. The 25-year-old Kaneli is studying political history at the University of Turku. The trainee’s main duties include assisting with organising JEF Finland’s events, event marketing, and planning other communications content. During the traineeship, events will include the Europe 2050 webinars, climate evenings, Autumn Days, and JEF Finland’s General Assembly. In addition, the trainee will get to develop school visit materials for use by the regional branches.

“I’m really excited about the upcoming traineeship and about getting to join JEF Finland’s activities. I really enjoy organising events and want to gain more experience in communications and civic engagement. JEF Finland offers a great setting for developing these skills, and an interesting place as part of an international network,” says Seppänen, who is starting the traineeship.

JEF Finland’s Executive Board selected the university trainee at its meeting on 17 August 2020. Seppänen begins the traineeship on 24 August 2020.
