We warmly welcome all JEF Turku members to the statutory Annual Meeting of Turun Eurooppanuoret ry on Monday, 3 December 2025, starting at 17:00. The meeting will be held at Turku-sali, Rehtorinpellonkatu 4 A, 20500 Turku. At the Annual Meeting, every individual member has the right to speak, attend and vote. As a member, you can also stand for the positions of trust elected at the meeting. If you are not yet a member, you can join here.
To prove your voting rights, please bring a photo ID to the meeting. Membership will be checked against the membership register.
The following statutory matters will be addressed at the meeting:
the Board’s report on the association’s activities for the past financial year,
the financial statement for the previous financial year and the auditor’s statement, as well as adoption of the financial statement,
discharge from liability for the Board and other accountable persons, adoption of JEF Turku’s new rules,
deciding on the action plan for the following year,
deciding on the budget for the following year,
election of the Chair, 1–2 Vice Chairs and other members of the Board (3–10 members),
election of one (1) auditor and one (1) deputy auditor, and
other matters proposed by the Board and members, taking into account the provisions of Section 24 of the Associations Act

Interested in board work in an active youth organisation? At the Annual Meeting, any interested member can stand as a candidate for the 2026 Board. No advance registration is required — you can also announce your candidacy at the meeting itself. If you are unable to attend, you can send your own board introduction to the Annual Meeting contact person by 4 pm on 3 December.

Notice of JEF Turku’s statutory Annual Meeting.
We warmly welcome you to JEF Turku’s Annual Meeting on December 3rd starting at 17.00. The assembly is held in Turku-sali, Rehtoripellonkatu 4A, 20500 Turku. Unfortunately it is not possible to participate remotely. You can participate as a non-Finnish speaker as everything will be translated into English if needed. At the annual meeting, each individual member has the right to speak, attend and vote. As a member, you can also stand for elected positions of trust at the meeting and influence the direction of the organisation’s activities for the up-coming year. If you are not yet a member, you can join here.

The following statutory business will be discussed at the meeting:
● The report of the Board of Directors on the activities of the Association for the past financial year,
● the accounts for the previous financial year and the opinion of the auditor, and the approval of the accounts,
● the discharge of the Board of Directors and other responsible persons,
– New rules for JEF Turku
● the adoption of an action plan for the following year,
● decision on the budget for the following year,
● the election of the Chair, 1-2 Vice-Chair and the other 3-10 members of the Board,
● election of one (1) auditor and one (1) deputy auditor; and
● other matters proposed by the Board and the members, taking into account the provisions of Article 24 of the Associations Act
Are you interested in serving on the board of an active youth organisation? At the Annual Meeting, any interested member can stand for election to the 2026 Board. There is no need to register in advance, and you can also register your candidacy at the meeting. If you are unable to attend, you can send your nomination to the contact person listed below 3.12. at 4 pm the latest.
