At its meeting 3/2022, JEF Finland’s Executive Board has appointed Bachelor of Humanities Saana Ylikruuvi as JEF Finland’s Project Coordinator. Ylikruuvi has previously worked as a Project Manager for Fingo ry and served as, among other things, chair of the University of Turku Student Union’s council and chair of the Finnish Union of Teacher Students SOOL.
“I’m truly excited about the Project Coordinator role! It’s wonderful to get to promote European values in Finland and to challenge myself with some new kinds of work.” Ylikruuvi says happily.
JEF Finland received two project grants for the current year, from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ Europe Information unit and an Erasmus+ partnership project. These projects make up a significant share of JEF Finland’s 2022 budget. The Project Coordinator holds overall responsibility for these projects.

Ylikruuvi started in the role on 10 March 2022.
