At its meeting 3/2021, the Executive Board selected Sera Savolainen as JEF Finland’s spring higher education intern. 21-year-old Sera is studying to become an industrial engineer at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
The intern’s main duties include planning, coordinating and implementing JEF Finland’s ThinkEU project, as well as assisting with the organisation of JEF Finland’s events, event marketing, and other communications content planning.
“I am more than happy to become part of JEF Finland’s international network and pleasant work community. It’s a pleasure to be able to make use of previous organisational and work experience in addition to what I’ve learned in school,” says Savolainen, who begins her internship on Monday, 15 March.
