At its meeting 8/2022, JEF Finland’s Executive Board selected Vilma Kujala, Bachelor of Arts (Humanities), as JEF Finland’s university trainee. Kujala has previously been an exchange student in Germany and has served as sports and events officer for her university subject association, as well as volunteering with church activities.
“I’m looking forward to working in a capable environment at JEF Finland, and to developing and learning new skills. I hope to be able to draw on my experience in organisational work and bring fresh ideas to communications” Kujala says happily.
The trainee’s main responsibilities include assisting with the organisation of JEF Finland’s events, event marketing, and other communications content planning. Events during the traineeship include the Castle Seminar, the “Nature and Diversity in the North” seminar, and the Autumn Days. The trainee will also get to take part in projects.
“This autumn is going to be incredibly interesting and busy. It’s fantastic to have Vilma on board to help with event organisation and communications”, comments JEF Finland’s President Risto Rajala.
Kujala started in the role on 8 August 2022.
