Linnaseminaari offers a weekend full of amazing and inspiring speakers, fresh political discussion and enjoyable time together. In line with the EU’s theme year, the theme of this year’s Linnaseminaari is skills, and the approaching European elections are also strongly in focus. The event is suitable both for those just getting to know EU affairs and for true EU experts.
Speakers at Linnaseminaari will include the Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Anders Adlercreutz, Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs Mika Aaltola, President of Akava Maria Löfgren, Chair of Akava Students Nicole Ojala, and Sitra’s Leading Specialist Eero Jalava. In addition, the event will dive into the 2024 European Parliament elections in an MEP panel together with Miapetra Kumpula-Natri, Heidi Hautala and Sirpa Pietikäinen, as well as through programme items from the European Parliament Liaison Office in Finland and European Movement Finland.
The event is organised in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Finland, the European Parliament Liaison Office in Finland and European Movement Finland.
The participation fee includes accommodation, meals and visits to the Haikko Manor spa. Shared transport from Helsinki city centre to the manor and back will also be arranged. Transport is included in the price of participation. The participation fee depends on the type of accommodation you choose.
