The National Congress exercises the highest decision-making power in our organisation, and it will be held in Vaasa on 25–26 November 2023. All JEF Finland members who have joined by 4 November 2023 at the latest can act as official congress delegates. You can become a member here.
Expect intense political discussion, decisions on the activities, finances and elected officials for 2024, as well as networking and great fellow members!
The National Congress will handle the statutory matters as well as any initiatives, the congress declaration and the political programme. In accordance with the rules, the National Congress will elect the president of the executive board and two (2) vice presidents as well as 5–8 other members of the executive board for 2024.
The participation fee for the National Congress is €30 for members who want accommodation arranged through JEF Finland, and €15 for those who do not need shared accommodation. Congress delegates will be reimbursed for travel expenses up to 60 euros based on the cheapest means of public transport.
The exact location of the National Congress will be sent to registered congress delegates. If necessary, it can be enquired about from the organisation in advance. The National Congress begins on Saturday 25 November at 12:00 and ends on Sunday 26 November at 17:30.
You must register for the National Congress in advance by 8 November if you want accommodation arranged by JEF Finland, and by 15 November if you do not need accommodation. Unfortunately, remote participation is not possible.
