
The theme of Spring Days is the EU’s common foreign and security policy, with a particular focus on cyber security. The event takes place in the Old Lecture Hall at the Museum of Central Finland.
Registration for the event is now open and you can sign up using the following form: https://forms.gle/Gju2fX8TVaeNqySq5. Registration is open until 2.4. for those staying in accommodation arranged through JEF Finland and until 16.4. for everyone else. Spring Days includes dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast and lunch on Sunday. In addition, those coming from outside Jyväskylä have the option of accommodation at the Omena hotel.
At Spring Days we will, among other things, explore state cyber espionage and privacy under the guidance of Professor Mikko Siponen, discuss current EU topics in foreign and security policy with Members of the European Parliament, and work together on JEF Finland’s international and political activities.
The participation fee for Spring Days is 15/25€ (non-residential/residential participants)and there is a limited number of places at the event (30 people), so make sure to register quickly! Registration is binding, and the last cancellation date is 2.4. for those staying in accommodation and 9.4. for everyone else. If you cancel after this, you may be invoiced for the event participation costs. Participation fees are invoiced after the deadlines.
If you would like to be exempted from the participation fee for a particular reason, please contact the organisation’s Secretary General. JEF Finland wants participation in its events to be possible for people from different backgrounds, so please feel free to get in touch by email ([email protected]).
REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAVEL COSTS
It is possible to claim reimbursement for travel costs from JEF Finland up to 25€. An expense claim form will be sent out for claiming travel reimbursements, and reimbursements are generally paid after the event. If you need reimbursement earlier, please contact the Secretary General. Travel is reimbursed according to the cheapest form of public transport.
